Teddy Keen is an artist, illustrator, and author best known for being the secret person behind the Unknown Adventurer children’s book series, loved by young explorers around the world.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world and the people he encounters, Teddy has explored some of the most remote places on Earth — from the peaks of the Himalayas, lost rivers in the Amazon, to illustrating beneath the waves.
In 2025 Teddy created the world's coldest portrait, drawing the 'Iceman' Wim Hof in an ice hole in Sweden, completed in 10 minutes at 0.1 degrees C.
Alongside his books, Teddy has created work for global brands including The Bank of New York, as well as private commissions for internationally recognised figures.
